As an 18-year old, Jasmin determinedly finished high school of Music and Drama in Copenhagen, Denmark, whilst working 6 part time jobs, to save up for an education in the performing arts. She devoted all her time to weekly classes in singing, dancing and acting, knowing that this was the place she felt herself blossoming more and more every day in joy for the art. Jasmin is known for hard work, perstistance and dedication. And having never believed in a plan B, after applying for schools in Denmark, London and New York, she finally got accepted into New York Film Academy, being granted a scholarship.

Jasmin moved to New York August 2013 for the 2 Musical Theatre and Film conservatory at NYFA, hoping to stay in the city for as long as her dream could fly.

At NYFA, a bachelorsized package of classes was squeezed down to two years. The classes offered were: dance (ballet, jazz, modern, tap, hip hop and ballroom), Acting (Meisner, Shakespeare, La Bon, Chekov), Comedy, Song through musical theatre through the years, Pop/rock and ensemble classes, Improv, Speech, Basic Stage Combat, Music theory, Acting for film and TV, Directing, and constant practise in audition technique through classes and various school shows.

Jasmin played Ilse in NYFA's first staged musical Spring Awakening, and starred in the two seasons of staged readings as Kali in Zoe Sarnak's A Lasting Impression and Piper in Bobby Cronin's Alone in the US.

NYFA opened the door to a row of amazing artists in the faculty, who are currently or recently has been on Broadway. Kristy Cates, Thom Warren, Kevin Duda, Deidre Goodwin, Michelle Potterf and Wysandria Woolsey, were among the many who taught Jasmin.

She says about NYFA: "This was not only an incredible experience for me as a growing artist, but even more as a maturing human being". And so the true beauty of life as an artist in NYC had kicked off.

Now recently graduated, she is auditioning for shows in the city, whilst working on her own music, leading the drama program for children in the Salvation Army on Staten Island, and co-operating with  people from the wonderful NY network on original projects, but most of all breathing in the city like never before, wondering how she ever deserved to be so lucky and rich in life. To a new chapter of a career in storytelling!

- It's about storytelling, beaing truthful and touching hearts. There's always a great story to tell. Especially today.

- A risk is worth taking, simply for the sake of taking it.
